Art Box is designed for these little artists to create original pieces of artwork inspired by famous artists, books, and the world that surrounds them. Students will paint, draw, collage, and sculpt their way into the world’s “Art Box”!

Ages: 5, 6 and 7
Students will be engaged in the lives and stories of famous artists such as Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Romero Britto and many more intriguing artists. Young artists will capture their own colorful personalities as they re-create famous paintings, drawings and sculptures during this 8–week session.

10-Week Session / Master Arts II $220.00
Ages 8, 9, 10
This class is an extension of Master Arts I. Students will continue to learn and study a variety of artists and perfect their artistic skills in a multitude of projects and lessons. Students will focus on particular painting and drawing techniques and build upon prior artistic knowledge.

10-Week Session / Advance Master Arts II $320.00
Ages 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
Jr. Artists was designed with the teen-ager artist in mind. Students will learn advanced techniques in drawing, painting, collage, printmaking and sculpture. They will work on creating “personal statement” pieces and individual portfolio’s. Students will be encouraged find their own inspiration for their work and will invest time in journaling, reflection and critique.

Thursday: 7:00-8:30pm September 17th - November 19th (This time is set aside for students ages 15,16,17,18)
10–Week Session / Drawing and Painting I $220.00
Ages: 8, 9, 10, 11
Older students will embark on a 10-week session designed around 2 dimensional artwork. Students will work with oil paints, pencil and charcole. We will study specific painting techniques, brush strokes and color mixing to create an over-sized canvas painting of a landscape. Students will also work on a series of pencil drawings and sketches working directly from a still-life.

4-Week Session / JR. Runway $140.00

Move over Project Runway! Make way for the newest fashion designers on the block! Students will learn first-hand what it is like to work in the ever changing world of fashion. Your Jr. Fashion Designer will study figure drawing and story-board concepts. They will sketch, paint, and create styles as unique as their personalities.

Celebrate our world by experiencing art from different cultures. Students will travel the world through art! Join us as we travel to far away places such as: Japan, Australia, Greece, and Africa. Projects will include such things as mask making, mosaics, paper making and more!

Explore color in depth. From exploring the primary and secondary colors to learning how to create mood with color. Students will explore the wonderful and complex world of color through a variety projects and mediums.

Week 1: Beach Days

Summer students’ imaginations will escape to the beach for mornings filled with bright and sunny colors and sandy textures. Students will study a variety of artists who were inspired by the beach and create their own beachy paintings, collages, and sculptures. We will use natural elements such as sand, shells, and twigs to sculpt with. Students will also have a chance to make their own paper that they will collage with!
Week 2: Up, Up, and Away!

Week two students will soar above the summer skies in this unique class designed around art that is inspired by the sky. Students will create light and airy paintings that will capture the sunlight and breath taking colors of summer sunsets. We will design colorful paper kites and create imaginary could pencil drawings.
Week 3: Comics and Cartoons 101

Kids have always been fascinated with comics and cartoons. This class is designed for Kidcasso art students to create a one of a kind character and place them into silly stories in the style of comic booking. Students will create story lines, work with design and illustration techniques, and use a variety of art materials to create their own comic books.
